Prentice Family - Family Adventure Shoot - Ambury Regional Park

Ambury Regional Park is one of my favourite places in Auckland for family shoots. It’s open, calm, and unpretentious - wide grassy spaces, coastal views, and just enough room for kids to move freely without feeling staged. The light there is gentle, especially later in the day, and everything about it encourages a slower, more relaxed pace.

This family session felt exactly like that. We wandered, talked, and let moments unfold naturally rather than trying to force anything. Some of my favourite images came from the in-between moments - small hands reaching out, shared glances, quiet laughter carried by the wind. Ambury has this grounding, peaceful energy, and it always creates space for families to simply be together, which is really what I’m trying to capture.
