Splore - Event Photography - Auckland

Splore Festival is a very special festival that happens every February here in New Zealand. You have local artist throughout the country come to perform, and international acts who join the festivities. Many artists come and partake in this wonderful event that many kiwis look forward to every year. There are lots of health and wellness courses you get access too with your camping ticket and delicious food trucks to help you fuel up for the day.

One of my favourite things about this festival is the amazing location it takes place in - Tapapakanga Regional Park! You get to spend a three day weekend at a picturesque park during the middle of the summer while swimming and listening to music at the same time. I don't think life gets much better.

There's something very magical about this celebration. You also have people from all walks of life joining: from itsy bitsy children with their families and young adults just trying to have a good time with their mates. I always walk away feeling inspired by the creativity that goes into making this festival come to life. I especially love the handmade costumes that everyone puts together for the party on Saturday night.
